Building on the Denon flagship AVC-X8500H, the AVC-X6700H uses an advanced digital audio processing system that features two dual SHARC + core DSP chips. This provides this system with up to 13 channels of audio decoding and processing power, including DTS: X Pro support and the latest 13-channel DTS: X playback (via a future firmware update).

PREAMPLIFIER MODE AT AMPLIFIER ASSIGN

Thanks to the latest Preamp mode, your Denon AV amplifier also works as a perfect AV pre-processor with the latest HDMI connectivity. Preamp mode provides a cleaner signal path and more tolerance in the distortion level by disconnecting internal amplifiers. Your separate AV system will be up to date without looting your bank account.

MULTISOURCE, MULTIROOM

With the AVC-X6700H, you can enjoy 11.2 channel surround sound in one room while up to two other rooms play a different source or music track for a total of 3 sources and 3 rooms. Watch a movie in one room while a family member listens to music undisturbed in another room.

TV SOUND IN ALL ROOMS

Play the sound of your TV in all rooms. Enjoy full discrete sound such as Dolby Atmos in one room with a full immersive experience while playing the same source in the second or third room. Select ''Source'' for the second room to play the sound from the first room. The AVC-X6700H supports both HDMI and digital sources for the second or third room.

BLUETOOTH SOUND TRANSMISSION

Enjoy your favorite audio without waking up the whole house by sending the audio from the AV amplifier to your Bluetooth headphones. The AVC-X6700H even allows you to simultaneously play sound from both Bluetooth headphones and connected speakers. If you have a hard of hearing family member or friend, we recommend this setup.

FRONT WIDE CHANNEL SUPPORT FOR DOLBY AND DTS: X

With support for front wide channels, you can add two additional front wide speakers with both Dolby and DTS to get a more seamless surround image up to 9.1.2 or 9.1.4 speaker configurations. Two-channel amplification must be connected to the AVC-X6700H for the 9.1.4 setup.

EASY INSTALLATION

The included AVC-X6700H Quick Installation Guide provides simple, clear instructions to get you started. As soon as you connect HDMI to the AVC-X6700H via the TV, the exclusive Denon Setup Assistant will appear on your TV screen to walk you through the installation step by step. The colored speaker terminals are also located next to each other on the rear of the AV amplifier. This makes organizing and connecting speaker cables a piece of cake. The AVC-X6700H automatically renames HDMI inputs when connected or you can manually set a different name for your own convenience.

QUICK SELECTS FOR USER FRIENDLY AUDIO TUNING

The front panel of the Denon AVC-X6700H features four Quick Select buttons that allow you to save your preferred settings for each audio source. Switch between TV audio, Blu-Ray, media players and more. The AVC-X6700H adjusts the EQ settings to your preferences for that media source. Use the buttons on the front panel or choose the same Quick Selects on the AVR remote for faster operation.

SMART TV CONNECTIVITY

AUDYSSEY MULTEQ XT32 EASY INSTALLATION AND ROOM CALIBRATION.

The Denon AVC-X6700H offers the possibility for external control and IP control and can thus be easily adapted to external home automation systems. This type features IP control for integration with major third party control devices and also includes Control4 SDDP (Simple Device Protection Protocol) certification for smooth and easy integration with Control4 home automation systems. To ensure that the remote works flawlessly with other components in your home theater system, the rear panel of the AV receiver has an IR (infrared) connection for the remote control. In addition, problems can now be solved remotely.
