We tried it on our lovely Dali Menuet SE, and from the 4.5 inch bookshelf came an enormously big and sweet vocal, female vocals were smooth and classy like silk and males were thick and sang with authority and weight. It was surprise to see how spacious the Cayin can sound too as the ambient was great and filled with micro ear candy details, switching from Triode to Ultra-linear mode and you get a higher output and more punch to the sound, great for audiophiles who desire a more impactful sound! It is also mesmerizing to watch the volume knob go up as you press the volume button on the control, a small touch that makes it a better listening experience.
